You have to create only a strong impression with being physically present for the interview. Many bluchip companies are planning to recruite via video conferencing etc and it is a good sign for techno-friendly ideas. Because it is the need of the hour and may be , in future face-to-face interviews may no longer persist. Are you ready about this !

Tips for a Virtual Job interview session.::

1. Be prepared and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to a pre-arranged video-conferencing site on conference call facility to test equipments, connectivity ec.. if participating in a video conference, use s webcam to test yourself in a mock interview situation.

2. Dress as you would dress for a face-to-face interview to create an impression , especially for a video-conferencing session.

3. Speak slowly and end your sentences clearly close to the microphone. Because of technology limitations , there may be a slight delay that can cause confusion if you end to trail off at the end of your sentences. Learn to modulate your voice.

4. Care should be aken for any pronounced body language or gestures that may not be received well by your interviewer.
